Homemade Wraps

Recently I purchased a crepe and tortilla maker, of course I was quite anxious to test it out.  I found it on sale at The Superstore, I can’t remember how much it was exactly but in the low thirties. That night we had fajitas, and were they ever good, warm wrap right off the pan!

  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Cup Water

  • Mix ingredients together
  • Knead into a soft dough
  • Separate into 12-16 pieces
  • Take once piece and roll it out to a nice thin size, using flour as needed (if you roll it out a little thick it will be more like flatbread, you preference)
  • Spray your tortilla maker, or frying pan, if you don’t have a tortilla maker
  • Cook until the down side it lightly brown, repeat on the other side

Then for the fajitas, I just fried chicken, mushrooms, onion and peppers. Topped our fajitas with tomato, lettuce and cheese. I personally like to add mayo to mine, my husband adds sour cream. These are really easy to make but obviously more time consuming than just buying your wraps.
