Apple Crisp (with gluten free option)

You can’t go through fall without eating apple crisp! Fresh apples, crisp topping with the cinnamon flavour…delicious!! One of my favourite parts about this dessert or particular recipe, is that it is cooked in the microwave. The other awesome thing is you can substitute the flour for gluten free!

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 Apples
  • 1/2 Cup Flour (regular or gluten free)
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Oatmeal
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Butter or Margarine, melted

Directions:

  • Peel, core and slice apples into a 8×8′ square dish
  • Mix all ingredients together to make a nice crumble
  • Put in microwave for 8-10 minutes
