Gluten Free Brownies

With my niece and recently my daughter, being gluten free, I am always on the lookout for a good gluten free recipe.  So while I was making the candy bar brownies per my oldest daughters request, I thought I would find a good gluten free one, so my other daughter was not left out.  I found one I could work with, change a couple things, and am quite satisfied with the results. So was everyone else, gluten free diet or not, everyone approved them!


  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2 1/4 cups gluten free flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup water


  • throw it all into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Put into greased 9×13″  pan
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min. or until cooked in the center
  • do not over cook
  • top with icing if desired (if you look at the candy bar brownies there is an icing recipe there I like to use)
